The hospital became functional in May 28, 1940.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It employed between two and four doctors and auxiliary personnel. It was not until 1944 that a separate infirmary was arranged in the camp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the memoirs of people associated with Stalag XX B, other locations are mentioned where the infirmary was supposedly located. One such place was the no longer extant barracks near the Jerusalem Hospital, another one was located in the vicinity of the present-day S\u0142owackiego Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The hospital was in operation until the last days of the camp&#8217;s existence.
